Day 2 IPO Reflection

Sigh.... publishing posts are tiring, and this is just the second today... Well, I guess its my fault not wanting to upload entries until today. Anyway, for both your sake and mine, I will keep this short, sweet and definitely less 'chim'.

Day Two's theme is about respect- trusting each other and to be open to other's opinion. Somewhat similar to yesterday, the games and 'sulking up' (which I am getting used to) were meant to emphasize this essential (I resist the usage of words like imperative and consequential) trait needed for a bonded class. More personalities are of course shown that day previously unknown to the class before and I definitely felt more and more confident that my time here will be an enjoyable one. Differences or not, the class has shown today (actually its yesterday) that we are able to tolerate the beliefs and characteristics of one another, no matter it contradicts those of ours, through great and effective communication.

The Indian scholars were not as bad as I think as well. They might have certain differentiation in culture and accent, but overall, they are really fun and caring people once you get to know them well. To make things even better, today was surprisingly not as tiring  as yesterday, despite the inclusion of the mass dance activity where I made new friends and had a lot of fun.

See, short and sweet, right?

~Your sponge-loving friend,
